Lady Liberty and Pirates at Thanksgiving Day Parade Philadelphia

Lady Liberty and Pirates at Thanksgiving Day Parade Philadelphia

For the 97th year, the annual 6ABC Dunkin’ Donuts Thanksgiving Day Parade was held in Philadelphia on November 24, 2016. The 1.4-mile Parade in Philly is the oldest Thanksgiving parade in the nation. Naturally Kern Studios was part of it with several spectacular floats that included many special guests this year!

Traditionally, Santa himself arrived in style in the float we especially designed for him and Mrs. Claus. On the Disney Gazebo float, we welcomed Disney’s newest princess Elena of Avalor, while the ‘Sounds of Music Float’ got into the groove with D.J. Kool.

Jo Dee Messina performed beautifully on the Bountiful Harvest float (yes, the one with The Turkey!) and former 98 Degrees star Drew Lachey really rocked Lady Liberty on the Patriotic Liberty float. Another big hit this year was the all-new Pirate Ship float, with a special performance by America’s Got Talent singer Brian Justice Crum. The audience loved it and so did we!

Onwards to next year’s edition!
