Blaine Kern Artists, builders of the famous Mardi Gras parades,
maintains a fleet of over four hundred floats and is the largest float
building firm in the world. A great number of these floats are available
for rental throughout the year. BKA requires liability insurance covering:
riders, lessee, and leaser, parade permit and police escorts (if
applicable), all of which we can arrange.
Included in float
rental are the tractor and driver, unless otherwise specified on contract.
Rental of all floats require a minimum of one property truck and varies
with each rental's specifications.
In addition to
traditional float parades, BKA also has a fleet of royal floats available.
These are smaller floats that can be used for a number of themes.
Available in almost any color combination, these floats are perfect for
homecoming parades, VIP presentations, Mardi Gras courts or any other
parade use. These tiered floats can carry one to twelve riders, depending
on costume and placement.
