Give Kids the World – Flying Saucer

The relationship between Give Kids the World and Kern Studios dates back to the 1993 with the donation of the giant Mushroom atop the one-of-a kind carousel for their signature “Castle of Miracles” building within the nonprofit “storybook” resort. As pictured within their logo, the mushroom has become a central and lasting part of the village. Give Kids the World Village is 89 acres and is used to host children with critical illnesses and their families to a weeklong, cost-free vacation to Central Florida for wish kids. Since 1986, Give Kids the World Village has welcomed 176,000 families from all 50 states and 76 countries. Kern Studios and GKTW have maintained the relationship with further donations and projects over the years including The Ice Cream Palace in May of 2000 and as recently as the installation of a 30-foot flying saucer which resides on top of the newly opened Henri’s Starlite Scoops in the fall of 2019. Kern Studios is a proud partner of Give Kids the World and looks forward to future projects and additions in the future.
